Product Dosage

Routine Maintenance:

1 to 1 1/2 oz per 10,000 gallons of water per day.

Shock Treatment:

10 oz per 10,000 gallons of water every 2 weeks.

Superchlorination:

11 oz per 10,000 gallons of water every week.

Directions

1. Initially the pool should be treated with repeated dosages of 1 to 1-1/2 ounces of this product for each 10,000 gallons of pool water to satisfy the chlorine demand of the water.
2. 1 ounce of this product per 10,000 gallons of water will apply approximately 0.5 ppm available chlorine.
3. To maintain a desired level of 1.5 to 2.0 ppm of chlorine residual, add 1 to 1-1/2 ounces of this product for each 10,000 gallons of water daily or as needed.
4. Once every 2 weeks a shock dose of 5 ppm of chlorine should be made to prevent development of residual species of algae.

For super chlorination add 11 ounces of this product per 10,000 gallons of water, at least once a week, especially during excessive heat, when bathing loads are high, when water becomes dull looking or hazy, when there is a "chlorine" like smell or excessive eye irritation, or after heavy rains.
